The first quarter of 2014 showed some very different activity in the Beach Haven Crest real estate market and on Long Beach Island. Much of the fear of Hurricane Sandy has passed and new measures have been put in place to protect Long Beach Island from future storms. Beach Haven Crest Real Estate Sales in the First Quarter of 2014

The following is a breakdown of single family homes sales in the Beach Haven Crest real estate market:

  • Three homes sold
  • The average price of a single family home was $869,442
  • On average, homes spent 143 days on the market

In total, over $2,600,000 worth of homes sold during the first quarter. The least expensive home to sell was 26 W Rhode Island Ave, a four bedroom home with two bathrooms. This home sold for $630,827 and spent 199 days on the market. The most expensive home to sell was 7804 Ocean Blvd, a five bedroom home with three full bathrooms and one half bathroom. This home sold for $1,300,000 and spent 148 days on the market.

Overall, the LBI real estate market has shown a high degree of stabilization since Hurricane Sandy. Sales of single family homes have been increasing and the average price of a single family home has been on the rise. While there are still some storm damaged homes for sale on Long Beach Island, many of these homes have cleared the market.
