As 2014 begins, the LBI real estate market continued to show improvement. With the continued improvement in sales volume, the average price of a single family home has been increasing on Long Beach Island. Beach Haven Park Real Estate Sales in the 1st Quarter of 2014 reflect this growing trend.

Beach Haven Park Real Estate Sales in the 1st Quarter of 2014

Sales of single family homes in Beach Haven Park were as follows:

  • Three homes sold
  • The average price of a single family home was $538,750
  • On average, homes spent 129 days on the market

Of the three homes to sell, one was a storm damaged home that will be knocked down to make way for new construction. The other two sales were traditional Cape Cod style homes. This data shows how buyers are more knowledgeable about the rules of flood insurance. Looking back one year ago, buyers were very nervous when considering anything not on pilings. Now, that a lot of the negative attention has passed, buyers are again willing to purchase the traditional Cape Cod style home and still see affordable flood insurance rates.
