Brighton Beach real estate 2016 sales showed steady activity and a slightly lower average sales price when compared to the overall Long Beach Island real estate market. This is not entirely surprising as home prices in Brighton Beach do tend to trade lower than elsewhere in the LBI real estate market. Overall, Brighton Beach real estate 2016 sales and the entire Long Beach Island real estate market had a very strong year.

  • The median price was $695,750.
  • On average, homes sold for $508.03 per square foot and spent 100 days on the market.
  • The average sale price to list price ratio was 95.62%.

The least expensive home to sell was 15 W. Rhode Island Ave. which was a three bedroom one bathroom home selling for $470,000 after spending 60 days on the market. The home traded at $494.74 per square foot. By contrast, the most expensive home to sell was 117 E. Connecticut Ave. which sold for $1,530,000 after spending 111 days on the market. This represents a sales price of $796.88 per square foot.
