The area is known as one of the nicest places to live on LBI with wider lots and beautiful beaches. These attributes help to keep the average price of a home in Haven Beach higher than some other markets and it is a trend we see in the Haven Beach Real Estate Sales in the First Quarter of 2015.

Haven Beach Real Estate Sales in the First Quarter of 2015
There was only one closed single-family home in Haven Beach real estate market during the first quarter. The property, 11009 Beach Avenue, was a five bedroom two bathroom Cape Cod style home built in 1950. This home sold for $755,000 after spending 100 days on the market. This translates to price per square foot $556.78. The price per square foot sheds some light on the exclusivity of the LBI real estate market in Haven Beach as we see new construction homes selling in the same price point elsewhere on Long Beach Island.

While at first blush only one closed transaction would seem to indicate a slow market, it is actually an improvement over 2014. During the first quarter in 2014 there were no closed transactions in Haven Beach. It is important to remember that Haven Beach is a very small section of Long Beach Island comprised of only a few blocks. For there to be any closed transactions in such a small time frame shows improvement in the overall Long Beach Island real estate market.
