The Holgate real estate market on Long Beach Island showed a very impressive third quarter. Overall,  more than twice the number of homes sold during 2015 than in the same time frame of 2014. The style and nature of homes sold in Holgate were between 1950’s and 1960’s era homes to magnificent new construction on the oceanfront. This again reinforces the notion that there is a wide market on Long Beach Island that has appeal to a range of buyers in different price points. Sales of single-family homes in Holgate real estate market on Long Beach Island were as follows:

  • There were seven closed single-family home transactions
  • The average price of a single-family home was $1,262,143
  • The average price per square foot was $514.04
  • On average, homes spent 79 days on the market

The least expensive home to sell was 14 W. Rosemma Avenue. This was a three bedroom one bathroom home. This home was only 616 sq. ft. sold for $420,500 after spending 95 days on the market. The most expensive home to sell was 4209 Long Beach Boulevard. This was a seven bedroom oceanfront home with seven full bathrooms and two half baths. This magnificent property, which comprised over 5,500 sq. ft. sold for $4 million after spending 170 days on the market.
