What NOT to Do That Will Help After Hurricane Sandy on Long Beach Island NJ

DO NOT CALL the local LBI Police Departments or Town Halls.  The staff is overwhelmed, working under dangerous conditions, and probably sleep deprived. They do not and simply cannot answer individual questions.
Right now, the only official source of information is the Long Beach Township website
It is updated twice daily, and the information is relevant to all the municipalities.  By allowing the First Responders, meaning all available Police, Municipal Employees, Volunteer Fire Fighters and Volunteer EMTs, as well as National Guard and Utility Personnel from around the country, to do their primary jobs without distractions, they will be done sooner and be safer.

In Closing…

Hurricane Sandy on Long Beach Island NJ Assistance is vital to the recovery. Long Beach Island has been hard hit but it will recover. The strength of LBI has been tested before and it has come back better than ever. Everyone is working hard to do their part and with a little faith, we will all enjoy LBI again soon!
