It was a very interesting day in the LBI real estate market. The entire day’s activity consisted of listings leaving the market! As we start the final month of 2022, it will be interesting to see how this year wraps up. Higher interest rates have been a concern, but market activity has been very strong in spite of this challenge.

Today was a day of closing! Five transactions closed in the Long Beach Island real estate market today. There were no new listings, no pending sales, and no price reductions. The rest of the activity was homes either expiring or being withdrawn from the market. Inventory continues to be near an all-time low, with only around 120 single-family homes for sale in the LBI real estate market. The lowest we have seen was around 75, so we are not far off that mark!
