Long Beach Island Real Estate Sales Market Update June 8th 2023

The Long Beach Island NJ real estate sales market had a pretty busy day! There were a total of 11 changes to the MLS, with a good mix of overall activity. Pending sales were higher today, showing buyers are getting ready for the summer sales season. Activity in the 08008 zip code was as follows:

  • 1 new listing came up for sale in the LBI real estate market
  • 3 homes went under contract on LBI
  • 2 homes sold on Long Beach Island
  • 3 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

There were a higher than normal number of price drops in the market today, but much of this has to do with sellers not fully understanding the LBI real estate market. As we can see time and time again, a well priced home that is in line with the current market will sell, and often will sell with multiple offers! There was also a price increase in the market with the home on 15th Street as a result of pricing too low and receiving too many offers!
