LBI Real Estate Daily Market Update March 19th 2020: There were a total 30 changes to the Long Beach Island real estate market today. As the world and the financial markets continue to deal with the coronavirus, it is helpful to still see strong activity in the LBI real estate market. To help understand the dynamics of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a daily, weekly, and monthly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market. LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis
So far we have not seen the coronavirus have an impact on the LBI real estate market but it is still very early on. The best way to track the impact of the coronavirus and the current economy is the number of homes back on the market. If this ends up being a higher than average number it could be a sign that the market is weakening. As for today’s activity, there were a higher than average number of new listings. That has to do with the Victoria Rose condo development coming online in Beach Haven. Other than this, activity was pretty standard for today.
