Today’s LBI real estate market update showed average activity with a mix of new listings, pending sales and closed transactions. We have seen an increase in the number of homes for sale on Long Beach Island, although inventory is still a fraction of what it was prior to COVID. We are still seeing a near perfect balance of new listings and pending sales each week, and today’s market activity highlights this very well. Acvitiy in the Long Beach Island NJ real estate market was as follows for today:

Today’s LBI real estate market activity showed a range of price points and home styles. It is worth mentioning that one of the two closed sales was a commercial rental, but the other was a popular condo located in Ship Bottom. The new inventory was centered around single-family homes priced over $2,000,000, which is the same price point as the pending sale today. This shows how balanced the Long Beach Island NJ real estate market is as new inventory is replacing homes that are selling!
