LBI Real Estate Daily Market Update February 26th 2021: The work week ended with 9 changes to the MLS today. The LBI real estate market still struggles with a lack of inventory thanks to high demand and coronavirus. To help understand the current trends of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a daily, weekly, and monthly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market. The activity seen today in the LBI real estate market mirrors the trends we have been seeing for the last 8-9 months. There were far more pending sales than new listings and that continues to deplete an already low pool of homes for sale on Long Beach Island. Buyers will face more competition for the fewer listings and this highlights the need to understand what determines value in the LBI real estate market.
