The second quarter of 2013 saw an improvement in real estate transactions. As damage from Hurricane Sandy was repaired, buyer confidence increased which has created a renewed interest in the LBI real estate market. North Beach shared in this increased activity! Sales of single family homes increased and the average sales price rose as well. North Beach saw some redevelopment which has helped to restore buyer confidence as investors were willing to build new homes in the area. North Beach Real Estate Market Sales in the Second Quarter of 2013 ended up being a good quarter when compared to past years and other areas of the Long Beach Island real estate market.

North Beach Real Estate Market Sales in the Second Quarter of 2013
Sales of single family homes in North Beach were as follows:
- Three homes sold in North Beach during the 2nd quarter
- The average price in North Beach was $1,190,000
- On average, homes spent 190 days on the market
The least expensive sale was 7 Starboard Road which was a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home. 7 Starboard sold for $560,000. The most expensive sale was 1003-D Long Beach Blvd, a 4 bedroom/ 5.5 bathroom oceanfront home selling for $2,250,000. The fact that an expensive oceanfront home sold is an encouraging sign that buyers are again willing to invest in the North Beach real estate market. Elsewhere, the LBI real estate market continued to recover from Hurricane Sandy with an improving number of homes selling and a higher average price. As storm damaged homes clear the market and are replaced by elaborate new construction, the overall value of homes on Long Beach Island will continue to increase.
