The real estate market in North Beach showed strong activity during the first quarter of 2014. As usual, the average sales price of a single family home was higher than the average on LBI. On the whole, the LBI real estate market showed strong activity as buyers took advantage of new inventory on the market after the first of the year. With many of the fears of Hurricane Sandy having been answered, buyer confidence has been strong. This is highly evident when looking at North Beach Real Estate Sales in the First Quarter of 2014.

North Beach Real Estate Sales in the First Quarter of 2014
Sales of single family homes in North Beach were as follows:
- Five single family homes sold
- The average sales price was $1,124,000
- On average, homes spent 185 days on the market
A grand total of over $5,600,000 worth of homes sold during the first quarter of 2014. The least expensive sale was 107 Roxie Ave was a four bedroom/ 1.5 bathroom Cape Cod selling for $525,00. The most expensive home to sell was 1050-E Long Beach Blvd a four bedroom/three and a half bathroom home selling for $2,350,000. The North Beach real estate market performed much better in the first quarter of 2014 than 2013. There was only one home sale in 2013 compared to the five in 2014. While the first quarter of 2013 was greatly impacted from Hurricane Sandy, the improvement in the North Beach real estate market shows how the Long Beach Island real estate market has recovered from Hurricane Sandy.
