The real estate market in North Beach continued to show strong activity in the second quarter of 2014. On the whole, the Long Beach Island real estate market also showed strong activity with a higher than average sales price. The overall improvement in real estate market activity has a great deal to do with most of the damage from Hurricane Sandy having been repaired. North Beach Real Estate Sales in the Second Quarter of 2014

Sales of single family homes in North Beach during the second quarter were as follows:

Five single family homes sold in North Beach
The average price of a single family home was $1,008,250
On average, homes spent a total of 74 days on the market

The second quarter of 2014 saw a total of over $5,000,000 worth of real estate selling. While this is a little less than the first quarter, it is still an impressive number! The least expensive sale was 1080-E Long Beach Blvd, a five bedroom, three and a half bathroom home selling for the full listing price of $735,000. The most expensive sale was 113 Roxie, a five bedroom, three and a half bathroom selling for $1,860,000. Two more homes sold in 2014 than 2013 however the average price was slightly lower. Homes did sell much quicker, roughly half the time as 2013! The LBI real estate market also saw an increase in the number of homes sold and the average sale price was much higher. This is partly due to the lack of storm damaged homes driving the average sales price lower.
