Surf City real estate 2016 sales showed strong activity and supported the general positive outlook we have seen throughout the LBI real estate market. The Surf City real estate market showed a healthy mix of homes sold in a variety of price points.

Surf City Real Estate 2016 Sales

Sales of single-family homes in the Surf City real estate market are broken down as follows:

  • In total, there were 60 single-family homes sold in the Surf City real estate market in 2016.
  • The average price of a single-family home was $726,532.
  •  The average price per square foot was $442.05.
  • On average, homes spent 164 days on the market and sold for 94.4% of their listing price.

The least expensive home to sell was 229 S. 2nd St. which was a two bedroom two bathroom home selling for $370,000. This home spent 400 days on the market and sold for 92.5% of the listing price. The most expensive home to sell was 27 N. 17th St. which was a five bedroom three and a half bath home built in 2011. This home sold for $1,700,000 after spending 34 days on the market. This represents a sales price of 103% of the original listing price.
