The real estate market in Surf City was very active during the second quarter of 2015. Home sales and price varied from some of the lowest single family prices we have seen on Long Beach Island to some of the highest in recent months. Overall, Surf City provides a good synopsis of the greater LBI real estate market and options available to buyers, regardless of their budget. Surf City real estate second quarter sales in 2015 were as follows:

There were 15 single family homes sold in Surf City during the second quarter
The average price of a single family home was $863,918
On average, homes spent 166 days on the market and sold for 94.86% of their listing price

The least expensive home to sell was 204 N. 6th St., which was a three bedroom, two bath home selling for $360,000. This home spent 317 days on the market, and sold for 90% of its listing price. The most expensive home to sell was 5 N. 10th St., which was a 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home selling for $2 million. This home spent only 60 days on the market, and traded for 95.24% of the listing price. The median sale price of a single family home was $607,000, and the average price per square foot was $510.37.
