Two LBI Real Estate Trends That Could Make This A Good Time To Buy

Looking at the data there the dual trends of interest rates and inventory levels are starting to make the case for this to be a buyers market. While there are many signals that show favoritism to a buyer in the current Long Beach Island real estate market, these two trends are worthwhile of discussion. First are interest rates. While the LBI real estate market is not as sensitive to interest rates as a primary market, lower rates certainly do play a role in encouraging activity. The prospect of lower ownership costs in the long run can make a strong case for a purchase provided the rest of the market makes sense. The second trend we have been seeing is the rise in inventory levels. While still not near 5 year highs, the number of homes for sale in the LBI real estate market has been on the rise as seen below:

The data above shows that so far in 2019 the number of homes for sale have been coming closer to 2017 which seems to have been the high point for sales in the Long Beach Island real estate market. Buying a Home in the LBI NJ Real Estate Market

So far 2019 has proven to be a good year in the LBI real estate market. While not trading at 2017 highs, there is a high level of confidence in the current market. As mentioned above there are several compelling reasons to consider a purchase in the LBI marketplace.
