One of the questions I am asked by buyers looking to purchase a home in the Long Beach Island real estate market has to do with flooding. Since Hurricane Sandy, flooding and flood insurance has been a prominent subject, and one that should be thoroughly understood before buying a home in the Long Beach Island real estate market. Generally speaking, the bayside areas are more at risk than their oceanside counterparts.
