Brant Beach Real Estate

Brant Beach real estate transactions showed some interesting trends. While fewer homes sold than in past quarters, the average sales price of a single family home was the highest in over two years! This is due to several factors including competitive interest rates and a stronger national economy, but it has a great deal to do with Hurricane Sandy. Since Hurricane Sandy, most of the storm damaged inventory has cleared the market and in its place, new homes have been built. This wave of new construction has  helped to strengthen the LBI real estate market as a whole. Brant Beach Real Estate Sales in the Third Quarter of 2014 are a good demonstration of this new trend.

The third quarter tends to be a little slower for sales on Long Beach Island as this covers the summer months. Summer can be a difficult time to sell homes as LBI is busy with summer rentals. Many home buyers on Long Beach Island choose to wait for the fall market, which creates a busy fourth quarter in the LBI real estate market.
