Free LBI Shuttle in Long Beach Township New Jersey

Long Beach Township NJ has taken a major step in starting a Free LBI Shuttle Service on Long Beach Island New Jersey. This service offers free pick up from anywhere on Long Beach Blvd. The service is set to run from 10 A.M. through 10 P.M. seven days a week and is designed to compliment the LBI Dial A Ride service currently in place to service the local bars. The Free LBI Shuttle Service on Long Beach Island New Jersey is currently the scheduled route of the shuttle can be found below. Highlights of the LBI Shuttle Service include:

In order to ride this Free LBI Shuttle Service on Long Beach Island New Jersey one simply must wait on Long Beach Blvd and hail the brightly colored buses. The scheduled route is below:

LBI FREE SHUTTLE BUS ROUTE

1) start from Bayview park and turn right on Long Beach Blvd 2) proceed south on Long beach blvd turn into Acme parking lot at traffic light reenter onto Long Beach Blvd Southbound. 3) At 132nd street turn drive slow (TD BANK) 4) proceed southbound on Long Beach Blvd till you get to Center St (beach Haven) turn right on Center St. proceed to West ave. 5) proceed to Engleside Ave. 6) Take Engleside Ave. across Bay Ave. (Long Beach Blvd) all the way to Atlantic Ave turn left on Atlantic Ave. If you pick up patron in front of the Seashell make sure the people know you are southbound to Holgate. At Center St take a left. Proceed on Center St. Back to Bay Ave. (Long Beach Blvd) turn left and proceed southbound 7) Turn right at Washington Ave and proceed to West Ave. 8) At west Ave turn left to McKinley Ave., turn left and proceed to long Beach Blvd. 9) At Long Beach Blvd and McKinley Ave this is the early bus Start point at 10Am And also The late bus point for final sweep at 10PM. 10) Proceed north on Long Beach Blvd to Engleside Ave at Engleside Ave. turn right and proceed to Atlantic Ave at Atlantic Ave turn left go past seashell bar and turn left on Center St. proceed back to Long Beach Blvd. 11) Turn right onto Long Beach Blvd Northbound. 12) precede Northbound on Long Beach Blvd to WAWA stop for WAWA will be on Long Beach Blvd Between 131st and 132nd St. 13) Proceed to the cutout at 89th St. turn into the cutout exit the cutout at the north most exit back onto Long Beach Blvd Northbound. Northbound from Bay View Park traveling north 14) Proceed to cutout by 64th St. enter into cutout and proceed to north most exit in the cutout turn back onto Long Beach Blvd northbound to 44th St. Cutout (by Daddy’Os) turn right into cutout and proceed to north most exit and enter back onto Long Beach Blvd northbound. 15) proceed northbound on Long Beach Blvd till you get to cutout by 21st St. enter cutout proceed to north most exit re-enter onto Long Beach Blvd Northbound. 16) proceed to 8th St .in Ship Bottom ( North side of 7-11) turn right and proceed to connector street turn Left on connector street travel to 7th street and proceed back to Long Beach Blvd northbound. 17) proceed to cutout around 9th St. in Surf City, enter cutout and proceed to the northern most exit reenter Long Beach Blvd proceed Northbound into North Beach at the north Beach pumping station / tennis courts track 1065 drive slow and be alert for riders awaiting a shuttle. Proceed north Bound through Harvey Cedars at Salem Ave traffic light slow down for any riders that want to get picked up at Sunset Park pick up or drop off any riders who want to stay. 18) Proceed Northbound into Loveladies slowing down when you pass the Loveladies Pumping Station and Tennis courts across from La Baia Ln. 19) Proceed Northbound into Barnegat Light, in Barnegat Light Long Beach Blvd turns into Central ave, take central Ave as far north as you can (4th St.) 20) At 4th St turn left take 4th St. to Broadway at Broadway turn right and go to end of Island At this point this is the 10 am start point for the shuttle that starts on the north end in the morning and also the Late bus point for final sweep at 10 pm it is very important the late bus starts at the Island ends at 10Pm so we pick up everyone who needs a ride to get to their destinations we do not want to leave any riders stranded miles from where they need to go. 21) From end of Island on Broadway proceed southbound to 6th St, 22) At 6th St turn right and proceed to Bay View Ave at Bay View turn Left. 23) proceed south on Bay View Ave to 18th St (Viking Village) enter parking lot drive through and exit parking lot reentering Bay View Ave southbound 24) at 20th St (flashing red Light four way stop turn right and proceed into High Bar Harbor continue onto Arnold Blvd at sunset Ave turn right. proceed to the High Bar Harbor yacht club then turn in median cutout and proceed opposite was on Sunset Ave. At Arnold Ave. turn left and bear left at the fork in road proceed past the four way stop (flashing red light) at central Ave. turn right and proceed southbound. 25) Slow down when you pass Sandy cove La this is the Arts Foundation be alert for patrons in this area. 26) proceed southbound into Harvey Cedars on Long beach Blvd. 27) At Salem Ave. turn Right and proceed to Sunset Park at the park turn around and take Salem Ave back to Long Beach Blvd, at Long Beach Blvd turn right and continue southbound 28) travel through North Beach and into Surf city and then in Ship Bottom at the 4th St. turn right and proceed to Central Ave, at Central Ave. turn left and proceed to 10th St. (This is the street south side of Wawa) turn left and proceed to Long Beach Blvd. 29) STAY ON Long Beach Blvd southbound By passing The cutout at Bagleeddie’s 30) Proceed on Long Beach Blvd By passing the cutout at Daddy O’s southbound. 31) At 68th and Long beach Blvd drive slow by park and look for patrons.
