The charts below show only minor changes in the market. The average rate of negotiation is only slightly less in 2019 compared to 2018 (95.7 and 95.2 respectively). The average sales price is slightly higher in this same year over year comparison however. In 2019 so far the average price is $1,168,429 and in 2019 it was $1,107,894. Overall this shows a large degree of stability in the LBI real estate market. Activity and prices are both proving to be strong demonstrating a high degree of confidence in the LBI real estate market.
Buying and Selling in the Long Beach Island Real Estate Market
Buying or selling a home is a major investment on Long Beach Island. Looking at the trends above coupled with slightly higher inventory levels it seems reasonable to assume that the market will remain strong (barring any major external factors like economic crashes, war, hurricanes, etc). While the rate of appreciation seems to have slowed somewhat, the Long Beach Island real estate market as a whole is doing very well.
