Ship Bottom and the Long Beach Island New Jersey Real Estate Market 2018

LBI NJ Real Estate

The Ship Bottom real estate market, like many other areas of the LBI real estate market saw a drop in activity in 2018. In total there were 66 transactions of all property types including single family homes, condominiums, multi-family homes, vacant land and commercial real estate. The average price of a Ship Bottom single family home home came in right around $800,000 but the 66 closed sales in 2018 was a big drop from the 82 seen in 2017.

Ship Bottom and the LBI NJ Real Estate Market

Overall the LBI real estate market dropped in 2018 from a market high in 2017. Activity still remains strong and prices are stable but the overall number of sales has fallen for most towns in the Long Beach Island real estate market. That said, buyer confidence is still very high and if a buyer is willing to be patient and look for the right deal there are excellent opportunities in the current market.
