While storm damaged homes continued to drive the average sales price of a single family home lower, the number of homes sold improved. Sales of single family homes in the Ship Bottom real estate market are as follows:
  • A total of ten single family homes sold in Ship Bottom.
  • The average price was $516,000
  • Homes spent an average of 126 days for sale in the Ship Bottom real estate market
A total of just over $5,100,000 worth of single family homes sold in Ship Bottom. The average listing price was $540,520. The most expensive home to sell was 101 W 20th Street, a four bedroom, three and a half bathroom home selling for $725,000. This was a new construction located near Long Beach Blvd on the bayside. The least expensive home to sell was a storm damaged single family home located at 1815 Pennsylvania Ave. This small home sold for only $140,000!

Ship Bottom and the LBI NJ Real Estate Market

Ship Bottom showed a lower average price than the rest of the LBI real estate market however it is encouraging to see activity improving so much. It is also important to remember that the second quarter average price in Ship Bottom was lower not only due to storm damaged homes but in particular a home selling for $140,000.
