The third quarter saw an improvement in the LBI real estate market. Overall, the number of homes sold increased as the average sales price of a single-family home. Condos and multifamily homes shared with higher sales and a higher average price. As homebuyers understanding of flood insurance improves, we see less and less fear of prohibitive insurance rates forcing buyers to remain on the sidelines in the LBI real estate market. While there were no closed real estate transactions in Beach Haven Terrace during the third quarter, this does not reflect negatively on the overall state of the LBI real estate market. We have seen in a number of past quarters these small sections of Long Beach Township registered and closed transactions during a given time.
