Harvey Cedars real estate market had a very strong fourth-quarter. Overall, there were 10 sold single-family homes with an average price point greater than that of the average price seen throughout the LBI real estate market. Harvey Cedars real estate 2016 fourth-quarter sales certainly helped to contribute to the positive trends we have seen throughout the LBI real estate market.

Sales of single-family homes in the Harvey Cedars real estate market are broken down as follows:

  • There were 10 closed transactions.

  • The average price of a single-family home was $1,212,250.

  • The average price per square foot was $598.55.

  • On average, homes spent 86 days on the market and sold for 93.35% of their listing price.


The least expensive home to sell was 6401 Long Beach Blvd. which was a three bedroom raised ranch on the ocean side. This home sold for $600,000 after spending 42 days on the market. This represents a price per square foot of $543.48. The most expensive home to sell was 11 E. 77th St. which was a brand-new ocean block construction with a pool. This home sold for $2 million after spending 56 days on the market which represents a price per square foot of $800. Overall the Harvey Cedars real estate market and the LBI real estate market in general had a very strong fourth quarter.
