The third quarter of real estate sales ended up being on of the best quarters since Hurricane Sandy made landfall at the end of October 2012. As buyers gained a better perspective on flood insurance costs and areas to avoid when buying a house, sales began to rise. Haven Beach Real Estate Sales in the Second Quarter of 2013 may have contradicted this trend with no closed transactions, however it is important to remember that Haven Beach is a small section of Long Beach Island. It is not uncommon to see small sections of Long Beach Island without closed transactions.
