LBI Real Estate Daily Market Update February 5th 2021: The week ended on a strong note. COVID-19 continues to impact the LBI real estate market and there is no doubt, that coronavirus has helped to fuel sales. There were a total of 14 changes to the MLS today on Long Beach Island. To help understand the dynamics of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a daily, weekly, and monthly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market.   • 3 new listings entered the market

  • 6 listings went under contract

  • 2 properties sold on Long Beach Island

  • 2 listings were either withdrawn of expired in the LBI real estate market

  • 0 properties came back on the market for sale

LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis

The COVID trend continues with far more inventory leaving the market than coming on. Twice as many homes went under contract today as came on the market. The low inventory continues to present challenges for buyers in the LBI real estate market, but the low-interest rates continue to create an incentive.
