The LBI real estate market saw a lot of activity today in the sales market. Perhaps buyers are getting encouraged by the summer season being so close at hand! Overall LBI real estate market activity was strong, as it has been for the past few days.

  • 2 new listings came up for sale in the LBI real estate market (note the chart shows three but two of them are the same house)

  • 4 homes went under contract on LBI

  • 1 home sold on Long Beach Island

  • 0 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

As as been the case, the LBI real estate market has seen a lot of balance and stability. There have been days where new listings outpaced pending sales, and other days, like today, where pending sales outpaced new listings. Taken as a whole, we are seeing between 1 and 2 pending sales each day of the week and about the same number of new listings. Welcome to a balanced real estate market on Long Beach Island! Demand is still strong and inventory is still low, so until one of those elements changes, this is likely to be the market.
