Long Beach Island Real Estate Sales Market Update October 10th 2023

It was another balanced day in the LBI real estate market today. There were an equal number of new listings and pending sales, which continues to be the trend on Long Beach Island. Inventory has slightly increased in the last few weeks, but we are still at historic lows with around 115-125 single-family homes for sale on Long Beach Island. Activity for today, October 10th 2023 was as follows:

  • 2 new listings came up for sale in the LBI real estate market

  • 2 homes went under contract on LBI

  • 1 home sold on Long Beach Island

  • 2 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

It is interesting to see how homes in all price points are still attracting attention in the LBI real estate market. The two listings that went under contract today could not be more opposite. One was a condo and the other was a massive oceanfront home that was listed for nearly ten times the price of the condo! It shows that even though prices are high, there are still a wide array of homes and options in the Long Beach Island New Jersey real estate sales market.
