Long Beach Island (LBI NJ) February 2019 Real Estate Sales Update

LBI Real Estate February 2019 Sales Update

Long Beach Island Real Estate

The LBI real estate market has slowed down however market activity and market pricing are still very strong. This LBI Real Estate February 2019 Sales Update highlights these points with fewer closed sales when compared to February 2018, but still no signs of a market crash or significant downturn. The real estate market on Long Beach Island has seen steady activity and sales growth since Hurricane Sandy so some slowdown is both expected and healthy. Overall February had a strong month for market activity on LBI.

Overall the statistics show strong activity and a stable market. The average price of a single family home was about $1,040,000 which is a healthy number in the LBI real estate market. The increases that lead up to the market peak in 2017 have slowed down but again there are no real signs of a downturn at this time. Rather the market seems to have leveled off with slow growth.
