Home sales have been very strong over the past 6 months and as usual, single family homes lead the pack. Currently homes priced between $500,000 and $1,000,000 see to be showing some of the strongest interest so by looking at LBI Real Estate Market Sales Between $600,000 and $900,000 can give us a good indication of the market as a whole. With over 100 properties currently under contract on Long Beach Island, it seems that many are looking to make a move before summer 2014!

Market activity for homes priced between $600,000 and $900,000 over the past 6 months is as follows. There are currently 143 single family homes listed for sale in this price range. To make the numbers easier to follow, I have broken the results into $100,000 price groups. 49 single family homes are listed between $600,000 and $700,000
There have been 17 closed single family homes in this price range
The average sales price has been $639,308
On average homes spent 118 days on the market and sold for 94.8% of their listing price

Clearly the most activity in the LBI real estate market is in the $600,000-$700,000 price range and this is reflective of what I have been seeing in the market. Homes in the $500,000-$600,000 price range have seen even more activity with 23 closed sales.
