LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 05-05-2024 to 05-12-2024: Happy Mother's Day to all the moms today! My Mother's Day LBI real estate market update showed normal activity with 39 changes to the LBI real estate sales market, but a nice surge in new listings. LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis
There were over twice as many new listings as there were pending sales this week, but that is not a surprise! The inventory of available homes for sale on Long Beach Island dropped to under 100 last week, and when that happens, we have seen pending sale activity slow down and new listings pick up. If the trend we have seen over the past 18 months or so holds true, we will see an increase in new listings over the next 2-3 weeks followed by a surge in pending sales until inventory drops back to about 100. We will see! There are 113 active listings in the MLS this week and 48pending sales.
