LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 07/23/2023-07/30/2023: It was a rather slow week in the LBI real estate market, but there were some very high end real estate transactions this week! Market activity on Long Beach Island was as follows this week:
15 new listings entered the market with an average price of $2,339,328
5 listings went under contract with an average listing price of about $3,318,800
9 properties sold on Long Beach Island with an average price of $1,977,722
6 listings saw price reductions in the LBI real estate market and one listing saw a price increase

New listings were the clear winner in activity this week, and this is welcomed new for buyers in the LBI real estate market. Still, even with this new inventory, there are only 108 active listings in the MLS this week and 47 pending sales. There were some very large transactions this week, including a sale for over $11,000,000 on the oceanfront!
