LBI Real Estate  Weekly Sales Update 12-22-2024 to 12-29-2024: The last full week of sales in 2024 showed very little activity. In fact, there were only 17 changes to the market this week! This is not at all surprising given this week fell over Christmas and we normally see a slow down during this time of year. LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis

2024 ended up being a strong year for the LBI real estate market. Once again, home sales on Long Beach Island moved higher with strong demand and increased pricing. Confidence in home sales on LBI seems strong as well, and we are still seeing stiff competition for many listings. That said, the market returned to a more normal state, with homes spending a little longer on the market than in prior years and buyers making smarter investments. Overall, the Long Beach Island real estate market performed well in 2024 and should start 2025 with the same momentum. There are 100 active listings in the MLS this week and 43 pending sales.
