LBI Real Estate  Weekly Sales Update 9/22/2019-9/29/2019: The market showed less activity this week compared to last week. There were a total of 92 changes to the market this week. To help understand the dynamics of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a weekly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market in addition to my monthly analysis of home sales. You can review all the active, pending, sold and withdrawn listings that are or were for sale on Long Beach Island in the given time frame. To give a quick summary:

  • 27 new listings entered the market with an average price of $1,095,089

  • 13 listings went under contact with an average listing price of about $1,216,138

  • 15 properties sold on Long Beach Island with an average price of $877,987

  • 11 listings were either withdrawn of expired in the LBI real estate market

LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis

There were far less new listings on the market this week but the average price was about the same. Half as many homes went under contract this week. Closed sales were down a little and the average price was much lower. All in all it was a much slower week as compared to last week but the market has been very busy in general. The fall market showed strong activity overall.
