Long Beach Island Living Life on LBI-Halloween Weekend 2023

It was a BUSY weekend on Long Beach Island! The weather felt more like summer than Halloween with 80-90 degress and sunshine! In spite of the warm weather, LBI was a buzz with Halloween activities. There were Trunk or Treats in Ship Bottom, Surf City and Beach Haven, the Harvest Fest in Long Beach Township, and a host of activities on the mainland as well. There was plenty to see and do this weekend on and around Long Beach Island!

Life on LBI-Halloween Weekend 2023

The town of Beach Haven and Beach Haven School hosted the traditional Halloween parade and Trunk or Treat at the school. This is the fun of a small, close-knit community. The Blvd was closed down while Beach Haven fire trucks led the way for children (both local and visitors can participate) to parade down the street to Beach Haven School. At the school, there is a fun and free Trunk or Treat, with music being played by the music teacher, pizza, ice cream, a costume contest, and a Halloween dance party! The next day (Saturday) saw the Harvest Fest in Long Beach Township with a petting zoo, pony rides, tractor rides on the beach, music, food, hot apple cider, and a "pumpkin patch" right on the bay beach! Saturday night is topped off with a Trunk or Treat in Surf City with more Halloween fun! All of LBI puts on a grand show for Halloween weekend with a lot to see and do!
