North Beach and Long Beach Island Real Estate

North Beach, a part of Long Beach Township on Long Beach Island, has had strong 2019 so far. Like the rest of the LBI real estate market there was an improvement in 2019 compared to 2018. While there was one less sale in 2019 year to date, the average and median price both improved.

The market in North Beach has shown an artificially higher increase than one would expect. The average price and median price have shown a roughly 30% increase since 2018 but that is not really the case in the LBI real estate market. Rather this has to do with the type of home that has sold. There were some large new homes that recently traded in North Beach making the numbers skew dramatically.



Long Beach Island Real Estate Market

So far the Long Beach Island real estate market has had a good year. About the same number of single family homes have sold in 2019 compared to 2018 but the average price is about $100,000 higher. North Beach, which is usually one of the higher priced markets on Long Beach Island, has remained strong and steady so far in 2019.
