Even though summer is over, there are a lot of things to do on Long Beach Island! This is especially true around the holidays, and this past weekend saw the first of many fun activities-The Beach Haven Horse and Carriage Ride!

Beach Haven Christmas Carriage Ride 2022
For the past several years, Kapler’s Pharmacy in Beach Haven has hosted a horse and buggy ride though the streets of Beach Haven. This fun and free event has become a tradition for many families in the area, and for many who come to see the sights and sounds of Christmas at the beach! On Friday and Saturday night, crowds gathered in line to listen to live Christmas music, have hot chocolate and cookies, and wait for their turn to take a ride though the streets of Beach Haven, all while singing Christmas carols! In addition to the ride, there are several others fun activities nearby. The Long Beach Island historical museum hosted a kids craft fair. This event offered a mix of paid and free crafts for kids of all ages. Later in the evening, there were fire pits and marshmallows in the park. As I said, there is a lot to do in the off-season on Long Beach Island, especially at Christmas!

Long Beach Island is a fun place to be all year round. There are more and more stores and restaurants open for year round business, and that helps to enhance the joy of owning a home at the beach.
