Five Tips When Selecting an LBI Listing Agent

Here are my five Long Beach Island real estate listing agent interview suggestions:

Research the agent: Find the basics of how the agent works in the real estate industry. Are they full time or part-time? How long have they been selling real estate? How many sales did they participate in over the last year?

Find out if the agent handles only sales or sales and rentals: The LBI real estate market consists of a strong sales market and an equally strong rental market. Both require a lot of time to be successful. An agent who is hired to sell a home should have their full and undivided attention on the sale market to ensure the best chance of success.

Google the agent: Google is used by just about everyone today, and it can be a big help in selecting a real estate agent. You can find out how active and proficient the agent is in the real estate market.

Check out Facebook: There are many Facebook pages with real reviews that can help in making a choice. (I say real because some large websites like Zillow, for example, are known to have thousands of fake reviews).

As the right questions: Make the agent answer questions that a buyer might want to know, for example, an explanation of flood insurance. This proficiency can go a long way to making your house stand out and help in the marketing of the home to potential buyers.
