LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 04/17/2022-04/24/2022: There were 45 changes to the Long Beach Island real estate market this week, which has been a pretty consistent amount of activity from week to week. To help understand the dynamics of the LBI real estate market for buyers, sellers and investors I publish a weekly sales update for the Long Beach Island real estate market in addition to my monthly analysis of home sales. You can review all the active, pending, sold, and withdrawn listings that are or were for sale on Long Beach Island in the given time frame. To give a quick summary:

  • 12 new listings entered the market with an average price of $1,265,711
  • 13 listings went under contract with an average listing price of about $1,960,231
  • 8 properties sold on Long Beach Island with an average price of $1,585,500
  • 3 listings saw price reductions in the LBI real estate market

Activity was about the same this week. We say slightly more pending sale activity than we did new listings come on the market. Overall, the recent rise in interest rates has has little to no impact on the activuy levels of the LBI real estate market. There are 107 active listings in the MLS this week and 128 homes under contract.
