Long Beach Island NJ (LBI NJ)
It was a beautiful week on Long Beach Island, and summer is in full swing! The 4th of July is always a popular time on Long Beach Island, and there has been plenty to do. The beaches and the ocean were very pleasant (after a few days of cold water), and there were plenty of fireworks shows all over LBI. Beach Haven hosted the annual fireworks display (my personal favorite) and the close proximity to Bay Village and Schooner's Wharf makes it a fun night all around.
Life on LBI-July 4th Weekend
There is no shortage of activities on LBI right now. The beach and bay are open, but so are all the stores, restaurants, and plenty of other activities. One "off Island" activity that can be fun is a boat ride across the bay to the Tuckerton Seaport. There you will find a replica of an old South Jersey town, plenty of local history, and a fun boat ride across the bay!
