LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 8-17-2025 to 8-24-2025: This week's LBI real estate market update showed steady activity with a total of 38 changes to the MLS. As is typical for this time of year, there was a surge in new listings. This is welcome news for the LBI real estate market, as the number of homes for sale on Long Beach Island is incredibly low. LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis
Inventory continues to be a challenge in the LBI real estate market. There are 94 active listings in the MLS this week and 54 pending sales for single-family homes as of the time of this writing. This is a very low number of homes for sale, especially when a percentage of them have an offer or contract. Fall should see an increase in the number of homes for sale, but with strong demand, this will likely be absorbed quickly.
