Happy first day of Summer 2023! Even though today was stormy, windy, and rainy, it is officially summer on Long Beach Island. The LBI real estate sales market agreed with the “summer fever”, as it showed an enormous number of pending sales today. LBI real estate transactions and changes to the MLS were as follows for today, LBI Real Estate Daily Market Update Wednesday June 21st 2023:

- 8 homes went under contract on LBI
- 0 homes sold on Long Beach Island
- 2 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

It was clearly a day for pending sales today on Long Beach Island. Of the 13 changes to the MLS today in the sales market, 8 of them were pending sales. Buyer activity is clearly strong, and a correctly priced home will sell in the LBI real estate market. This further reduces the already low number of homes for sale. Currently, there are only 117 active single-family homes for sale on Long Beach Island, and it is a safe bet that a portion of them have an offer or are in contract already.
