The Christmas and holiday season is in full swing on LBI! This past weekend, Ship Bottom hosted the annual Christmas Parade, which was full of local groups, businesses, and individuals celebrating the season. Local school marching bands, fire stations, and various community groups all took part in the fun. After the parade, there were plenty of parties and events taking place all over LBI. Beach Haven School also hosted their annual Christmas party. Even though it was held at Beach Haven School, this fun event is open to everyone. The laid-back party featured arts and crafts, hot chocolate and cookies, plenty of music and dancing, and…of course… a visit from Santa!

Life on LBI-Christmas Continues on Long Beach Island
The fun continues this weekend, with even more going on all over Long Beach Island. Beach Haven hosts the annual Cookie Wars in Bay Village and Schooner’s Wharf. Think of this as trick or treating with Christmas Cookies. Local stores and restaurants bake their favorite cookies and all are welcome to sample and vote for their favorite! There are also a host of Christmas markets on and around LBI, so there are plenty of opportunities to do some holiday shopping.
