Three Reasons to Sell Your Long Beach Island Home This Winter
Of all the reasons for a seller to list their property this winter in the LBI real estate market, the lack of inventory tops the list. Inventory levels are low. Plain and simple. In fact, over the past 60 months, there have only been five months that show lower inventory levels that we see today. The lack of homes for sale makes a strong argument to list your home for sale. Secondly, buyer activity is usually robust in the winter. We see a lot of buyers enter the market in January and February. As such, having your home appear as new in the LBI real estate market can draw special attention. Following on the trend of seeing more buyers in the winter, we see more serious buyers in the winter. A contract in January or February sets a buyer up well for an early Spring closing. This can compel a buyer to make a decision and move forward with a purchase.
