The Brighton Beach real estate market had a strong showing in 2022. While the number of homes sold dropped compared to the prior year, the average price was much higher...almost 10% more! The lower number of home sales was not attributed to a lack of interest but rather a lack of inventory. There are simply not enough homes for sale in the LBI real estate market to meet the demand from home buyers. The average price of a single-family home was about $1,550,000, and homes sold for 99.5% of their asking price. On average, a home spent about 16 days on the market.
