It was an average day in the LBI real estate market. To be fair, weekends tend to be rather quiet in terms of market activity. There were 2 closings reported today, but most likely they actually transacted yesterday (Friday) as we normally don't have closings on the weekend. The LBI real estate market continues to show good activity. As I have written many times, inventory is the single most significant challenge facing buyers in the market today. There was a net loss of inventory today, so days like this make it a little harder for buyers in the Long Beach Island real estate market. Still, the number of homes for sale on LBI has been (very slowly) increasing, but is still far below the normal levels we traditionally have on LBI.
