Long Beach Island Real Estate Sales Market Update August 3rd 2023

We are in high summer and Long Beach Island is very busy! The real estate market is no exception. We have started to see some more inventory come on the market, which is typically for this time of year, but the number of homes for sale on Long Beach Island is still very low. Market activity for today is as follows on LBI:

  • 5 new listings came up for sale in the LBI real estate market

  • 1 home went under contract on LBI

  • 2 homes sold on Long Beach Island

  • 1 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

Overall, market activity was balanced today on Long Beach Island. New listings outweighed the rest of the market, but as I mentioned above, this is sorely needed. There are still only around 100 single-family homes for sale on Long Beach Island. It is interesting to note that one of the closed sales today was for $11,000,000, that is a very high price for LBI!
