Long Beach Island Real Estate Sales Market Update October 29th 2024

Today's LBI real estate market update showed another day of strong pending sales activity. For the second day in a row, there were no new listings entering the market, but there were several pending sales. In fact, in the last 2 days, 7 homes have gone "under contract' in the Long Beach Island real estate market. This is a lot of sales activity, especially in the absence of new inventory entering the LBI real estate market. Today's activity was as follows:

  • 0 new listings came up for sale in the LBI real estate market

  • 3 homes went under contract on LBI

  • 3 homes sold on Long Beach Island

  • 0 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

While there were no new listings today, one previously withdrawn home did come back on the Long Beach Island NJ real estate market. The pending sales activity showed a wide range of options, from a near-new home on the oceanside in The Dunes section of Long Beach Township to a commercial property in Ship Bottom. Inventory has dropped off a bit in the past few days, but this is normal for this time of year after the late summer to early fall inventory surge abates. Activity is still strong in the LBI real estate market and will likely continue throughout the rest of the year.
