LBI Real Estate Weekly Sales Update 12-24-2023 to 12-31-2023: For the last week of 2023, there were only 18 changes to the MLS. Activity in the LBI real estate market is always slow this time of year, but the trends we saw this week mimic the trends we have seen for the entire year-a balanced and growing market! LBI New Jersey Real Estate Sales Analysis

The end of 2023 marks a very interesting year in real estate. We witnessed massive interest rate increases while, at the same time, seeing prices continue to grow on LBI. Inventory remains the main challenge, with less than 100 homes for sale in the entirety of Long Beach Island! Overall, market conditions look to be improving for buyers as mortgage rates drop, but there is a strong possibility that this will also lead to more activity and higher prices. We will see what 2024 has in store for the LBI real estate market. There are 98 active listings in the MLS this week and 42 pending sales.
